Solving a Blue Screen lockup can be a real frustrating experience because the source of the problem is typically a bad or errant application. When this happens you will typically be running a job and suddenly there is a system lockup and the application abends and damages both your system registry software as well the OS itself. Your only option - other than reloading the OS - is to power down and power back up in Safe Mode. Then you will be able to do a System Restore with a set date prior to the day date of the install. Then you can go back into the Control Panel and delete the app. Following that you power down normally and run power back up and run your software again to fix registry.
